~ How 'Eternal Angels Website Design' was founded ~
My husband and I are the proud parents of 2 beautiful children on Earth, *Sophie 14 and Ben 7* and two very Precious little Angels in Heaven, Jack~Andrew who was born November 27th 2000 and who left for Heaven at just '5' minutes of age and Samuel~Jack, born February 26th 2002 and who left for Heaven at just '30' minutes old... I only became a member of the 'Computer and Internet World' back in the summer of 2000 when we were expecting our 'third baby, Jack'... It was at the 20 week ultrasound scan during the pregnancy that we were told that our unborn baby had a 'Rare Kidney Disorder' so serious that our little baby would not survive outside my womb! It was at that time that I became to use the 'PC'... I spent every waking hour emailing 'Professors & Surgeons' all around the world, trying to find a cure for this 'disease', but every time a new email came through, the 'answer' was always the same... There is no cure for ARPKD'... We didn't give up hope though... We kept trying and praying for a miracle to happen at birth, yet devastatingly, when our Precious Jack was born, he only lived with us here on earth for just 5 very short minutes... *Our Miracle for our sweet treasured baby Jack, never came*!
After much soul searching, worry and heartache, we finally made the decision to try again for another baby, one last time, and had the wonderful news that we were expecting again in the June 2001, with our due date of February 2002... Tragically, at the same 20 week ultrasound, it was confirmed that our new unborn baby had again, showed the signs of the same 'Kidney Disorder' that we had lost our Jack to, just 10 months previous. Samuel was born on February 26th 2002, heartbreakingly leaving for Heaven just 30 minutes after his birth too... When our Jack was born, I knew I had to do something positive in his 'Memory' and so created a 'Memorial Website' for him, that ourselves and our family & friends could visit and spend time with', not knowing that I would be adding his sweet precious baby brother on there too within 15 very short months... I started to create with no knowledge of Computers, but persevered... This was the hardest thing I had ever had to do in my life. Creating a *Memorial Website* in Memory of my little baby is not the way it should be and despairingly, just 15 months after losing our Baby Jack and creating his Memorial website, I found myself doing exactly the same thing again, for our next 'Baby Angel Samuel'!
I knew in my heart that creating this website in our babies Memories, may help someone, somewhere, around the world, who tragically may be experiencing a similar situation as ours or maybe already going through it... It is heartbreaking when you know that so many little babies are 'lost' through these impossible 'Syndromes' in life, and there is nothing we can do, as parents to help... Through Jack & Samuels Web Site, and from the feedback and response that we have had, I know in my heart that we have managed to 'bring some comfort' in some way, to many, many people from all over the world, and that brings me immense 'comfort too'... So there's a brief outline of how I became an Internet user and how I started in 'Memorial Websites'... I so wish that I could have 'started' this 'Web Design' in a much different way, and not through the loss of our two baby boys! My 'two Angel Sons', Jack & Samuel have been my strength throughout and it was through them that I started thinking more seriously about my future and what it holds for me... It is through their spirits that I carry on, knowing though, that one day, I will be able to hold them once again in my arms, 'forever'...
