I did my first ever dive on Friday 22-9-06  at St Nickolaos Beach Diving School and absolutely loved it.

I was a little nervous that something would happen and that I wouldn't be able to breath underwater but once you meet the team all worries fade away.  I only have one arm and wondered if that would hinder me taking me taking part but there was no problem, once you fill out the questionnaire.  It was an amazing experience and because there is a professional diver  for each  'learner'  there is nothing to fear.

Definitely worth trying

Thanks a million for the experience

I had a fantastic time with the St. Nicholas beach diving school whilst on holiday in early September and I’d really recommend them. I’d done a ‘try a dive’ session before a couple of years ago in Cyprus . I’d say this one was better though.

The instruction was very thorough, but they also put a lot of emphasis on just enjoying the dive. I found the instructors and staff all really helpful and friendly. The sea was literally teeming with fish, particularly while we were feeding them and the underwater environment was quite spectacular and clear.

The first dive was 49 Euros, but I also did a second, which they let you do for 35. They said you can come back at any time in your holiday to do a second dive, but I decided to do it that day, because I probably wouldn’t be back at St. Nicholas beach (one thing to be aware of is that there is a free bus service to St. Nicholas beach, but it doesn’t return until after 5. I didn’t really spot any taxis or anything nearby, so once you go, you are there for the day. Having said that, there’s plenty to do as well as Scuba –other Watersports, bars etc and it’s a really scenic beach)

Because I was the only person who did the second dive at that time, I got to go one-to-one with the instructor. Managed to see loads more fish (some of them pretty colourful) and he also showed me an Octopus.

Overall, I’d really recommend this.

My boyfriend Mark and I had our first dive experience on Thursday 27 July with the wonderful instructors at St Nick's.  I was very nervous, so say the least(!) but John was an absolute star and stuck with me - he made me feel totally safe and even inspired me to do a second dive that afternoon, which really is worth doing as you go out further.  For both of us, it was great fun and a brilliant introduction to diving.  You couldn't ask for nicer instructors - thanks John, Mike and Ray.

We had two awesome dives, both where we got to see a vast array of fish and even a couple of octopus ( one of which we got to stroke too). I thought all the dive instructors were great and really nice, they all genuinely have a great love for diving. We will definitely be trying to get back for next year, hopefully as qualified divers!! Great pictures and video by the way well worth the money!!.

Early Sept 2005. Had a 'try dive' then a second it was a fantastic day with very friendly and informed instructors. I would recommend this to anyone who has never been diving or even if you are experienced. Playing with the Octopus was the highlight. Hope to have another go next year.

When I went to St Nicholas beach I never dreamed that the diving experience would be as magical as it was. The location was fantastic and the water was warm and clear. The tutors were very calm and clear in what they taught you.

We took our dive that lasted around twenty-twenty five minutes they made you feel very calm under water and you were never out of reach. I was that impressed with the dive I played for and took another longer dive in the afternoon.

The whole experience has inspired me to become an instructor myself one day. Have booked to go back next September and would recommend this experience to anyone. ITS TOTALLY OUT OF THIS WORLD MAGICAL.

Thank you all for the experience thank you. Kai Rivers Bridlington East Yorkshire England.
