Wreck Diving

Since the new regulations have been in place, a number of wrecks have become available for us to dive and explore
during the 2008 summer season.

One of the most exciting is the ‘Zakynthos’.

 The 'Zakynthos' was the island’s ferry over 18 years ago.  It was sunk whilst carrying fuel Lorries from the port of Kalini during a storm.
Factual information about this wreck has proved very hard to come by, however, the locals have suggested that
she went down in one of the worst storms in history!

Watch this space, we will continue to source information and update you…

At this time we are the ONLY diving centre on the island to dive the ’Zakynthos’,
we are very excited about exploring it further and sharing it with you during the forthcoming season.

Another possible wreck is the submarine HMS Perseus off the coast of Kefalonia.

These dives are for experienced advanced divers;
They are not in our day to day programme and thus requires preplanning
.
